Configurable frontend node; evaluation runtime planned

RAGAS Evaluator

Represent evaluation of answer quality in a pipeline design.

Category: Output. Registry label: RAGAS Evaluator.

Purpose #

RAG evaluation helps assess whether a retrieval-and-generation system produces useful answers. Ragify's node registry includes a RAGAS Evaluator intended to represent quality scoring.

Position in the graph #

The node is present in the library as an output-category component. Its exact accepted position depends on the current editor's graph validation rules. Do not add it to the seven-node Basic RAG or eight-node Hybrid Search example unless the editor validates that arrangement.

Design guidance #

Use the node as a way to discuss evaluation when planning future execution and quality measurement. The current frontend does not provide evidence of computed RAGAS scores.

Current limitation #

No evaluation job, real score, or performance benchmark is run in the preview.
