Frequently asked questions

Concise answers to common Ragify product and frontend-preview questions.

What is Ragify? #

Ragify is a visual environment for designing retrieval-augmented generation pipelines from configurable nodes.

Is Ragify a no-code tool? #

The visual editor reduces the need to hand-assemble pipeline structure in code. Understanding RAG concepts remains helpful when choosing processing, retrieval, and generation behavior.

What is included in a Basic RAG graph? #

Document Loader, Chunker, Embedder, Vector Store, Retriever, LLM, and Answer / Output.

The Hybrid Search starter graph uses a Hybrid Retriever for dense plus BM25 retrieval with RRF fusion and adds a Reranker before the LLM stage.

Can I configure nodes? #

Yes. The frontend provides node-specific configuration dialogs. These controls do not execute external services in the current preview.

Can I upload documents? #

The current interface supports document-selection previews, but not real server-side ingestion or durable file storage.

Does validation run my pipeline? #

No. It checks supported frontend graph and configuration rules; it does not perform a backend execution.

Can I save and reopen pipelines? #

Not through backend persistence in the reviewed frontend. Graph state is session-scoped.

Can my chatbot call a Ragify endpoint? #

Not yet. API deployment and operational credentials are planned capabilities.

Are the dashboard and Runs metrics real? #

The current frontend includes illustrative or sample data in those interfaces.

Does Ragify support light and dark themes? #

Yes. Light, dark, and system appearance modes are supported in the frontend.
