Guided onboarding

Learn the four-step onboarding path from a use case to a template graph.

Ragify's guided onboarding helps you begin with a meaningful graph rather than an empty canvas. It collects information for the frontend experience and prepares a temporary editor draft.

Step 1: Choose a goal #

Select the goal closest to your intended workflow. The current onboarding examples include research papers, company documentation, and product-related questions. The choice shapes the introductory experience; it does not launch an ingestion service.

Step 2: Name the workspace #

Enter a workspace display name. The name helps identify the work visually. Workspace preferences and temporary onboarding state are browser-local, not backed by an authenticated account.

Step 3: Choose a starting template #

Choose Basic RAG for the standard seven-node retrieval flow or Hybrid Search RAG for the eight-node flow that includes hybrid retrieval and reranking.

Step 4: Optionally select documents #

You may choose files as part of the preview. The current frontend records file metadata for the interface; it does not upload, parse, embed, or persist the document content.

Continue to the editor #

On desktop, onboarding can hand the selected template into the new-pipeline editor. The draft is temporary and may not survive leaving the browser session or moving to another device. On smaller screens the handoff behavior may differ because the full editor is optimized for desktop.
