Add, connect, and arrange nodes
Work with pipeline nodes and directional connections on the visual canvas.
A node is a configurable building block in the Ragify editor. A connection indicates that one stage feeds into another in the intended design.
Add a node #
Open the editor's node library or add-node control, find the desired component, and insert it into the graph. Search can help narrow the ten registered node types. Start with the role your pipeline needs rather than adding nodes at random.
Connect the stages #
Use the canvas connection controls to connect a node's output to the next appropriate stage. Follow the required sequence of the selected template. The editor checks supported connection compatibility; not every arbitrary connection belongs in a valid RAG graph.
Arrange for clarity #
Place nodes so the pipeline reads in a consistent direction. Keep related stages close enough to see their relationships. A clear layout improves review but does not change backend behavior, because backend execution is not connected.
Correct mistakes #
Use the editor's editing and undo/redo controls when available. If validation reports a missing or incompatible connection, return to the graph and repair it. Be aware that graph changes are session-scoped.
Current constraint #
Ragify's V1 graph expects one linear sequence and one retrieval strategy. Branching, parallel execution, and arbitrary loop semantics are not part of the documented current graph model.
