Configurable frontend node; runtime output planned

Answer / Output

Represent the final response stage of a RAG workflow.

Category: Output. Registry label: Answer / Output.

Purpose #

Answer / Output is the final stage in the Basic RAG and Hybrid Search starter graphs. It represents where a future runtime's generated result would be surfaced to a caller or interface.

Position in the graph #

LLM → Answer / Output

Design guidance #

Include the node to make the output stage explicit. Treat previewed answer surfaces as UI design demonstrations rather than proof of a generated answer.

Current limitation #

No real answer or citation payload is returned by a backend execution in the reviewed frontend.
